Surface Crack Inspections

The surface crack inspection is suitable for the detection of even smallest defects by means of eddy current.

In case of ferromagnetic materials these defects must be open towards the inspection surface, whereas in case of paramagnetic materials they can also be covered.

This inspection can be executed both manually and in a mechanised way by the application of manipulators.

For small and/or inaccessible inspection areas the application of special sensors with high resolution makes sense. Should the surfaces not be plane, also spring supported eddy current sensor systems can be applied.

The documentation of surface crack inspections on tubes or welded seams is also created in meaningful and flexible 3-D-documentations.

These are available via any Internetbrowser and are thus easily transferable to the customer.
