In addition to the inspection with eddy current Delta Test offers further non-destructive inspection methods. Also visual inspections and inspection with I.R.I.S. are among our scope of services.

I.R.I.S. (Internal Rotary Inspection System)

This method based on the ultrasonic technique is excellently suitable as analysis procedure for the verification of damages, often in addition to the inspection with eddy current. By the rotating scanning of the tube’s inner surface with ultrasonic impulses a high measuring accuracy is obtained affecting, however, adversely the inspection speed. Since the reflexion of impulses represents the basis for the measuring, however, a sound cleaning of the tubes is necessary, too.

Visual Inspections

A visual inspection in combination with an eddy current inspection is recommended especially for heat exchangers that shall be inspected in dismantled condition within the scope of a technical standstill. For this purpose our certified inspection operators with the most modern endoscopes are at your disposal.
